The fabrics in this are from a Louisiana designer, Ellie Gaytor.  They include beignets, café au lait, and candy canes.  Alliigators are pulling Santa's sleigh.  There is also Alligator sweater fabric.

The backing is a green paisley.  The binding is from the red and white fabric, which "breaks the rules" for bigger quilts when you don't want a light-colored fabric for the binding becuase it can get stained or soiled.  But this is not designed to be used on a bed or as a throw, and its size restrains it to cleaner use.

The quilting is done in red on the front and a neutral grey on the back, in a design of stars and wonky Christmas trees.

The batting is Dream Angel.
