Ready to apply. Cut on straight-grain (NOT bias) for STRAIGHT-edged quilts, in order to minimize stretching during application. Pieced on diagonal to reduce bulk while applying. The binding is 2-1/2", meaning it was cut into 2-1/2" strips, folded in half, and pressed. The finished height is NOT 2-1/2", but is what is known as 2-1/2" binding.
If you wish to have binding on the bias for curved or irregular edges, this can be made by special request. If you wish to have a different fabric, inquire about availability.
The binding can be sewn to the back of the quilt, pressed and folded, then machine stitched down to the front. Alternatively, it can be sewn to the front of your quilt, pressed and folded, then hand-stiched down on the back.
If you require more yardage than in inventory, inquire about availability of additional yards.
